The VMware Ports and Protocols tool is a portal that enables you to view all the ports needed by various VMware products, solutions, and services in a single pane. You can select all VMware products that you intend to deploy in your environment from the side panel, and this tool generates a list of ports along with other associated information such as the protocol, service description, source, and destination.
The tool currently has port information for vSphere, vSAN, NSX Data Center for vSphere, NSX Intelligence, NSX-T Data Center, vRealize Network Insight, vRealize Automation, vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager, vRealize Operations Manager, vRealize Log Insight, VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware Cloud Director Availability, vCloud Usage Meter, VMware HCX, Horizon 7, Workspace ONE UEM, Workspace ONE Access, Site Recovery Manager, VMware Cloud Director and VMware SD-WAN by VeloCloud. The tool is updated every time a major version of the product is released.

Vmware Network Configuration

PROBLEMS WITH 'UBUNTU 10.10' HOSTS THAT HAVE BOTH A WIRED NETWORK ADAPTER AND A WIRELESS NETWORK ADAPTER: When running 'VMware Player 3' on an Ubuntu 10.10 host, if we had both a wired Ethernet adapter and a WiFi adapter installed on. I am a student and using ESXi for my lab environemnt, Because of my setup I need to connect my Host to a wireless network in order to access my hosts remotely. Ok, I installed ESXi 4 on a HP DL380 and it is working fine. The Problem I am having is that I need to use a PCI Wireless Card. The type of network configuration that you can select depends on whether the virtual machine is a local, shared, or remote virtual machine. To configure virtual network adapter settings for a selected virtual machine, select VM Settings, click the Hardware tab, and select the virtual network adapter. VRealize Network Insight helps you build an optimized, highly available and secure network infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. By default, VMware uses NAT Used to share the host’s IP address option so that the virtual machine can use the host computer’s IP address while creating a network connection. This can create issues.
